The President’s Club

The Mercer University President’s Club was established in 1964 to recognize alumni and friends who provide a nucleus of support for the University. Over the years, this select group of alumni and friends has supplied nearly three-quarters of the gifts from individuals for annual support.

Members of the President’s Club serve as goodwill ambassadors for the University, encouraging and inspiring alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends to join them in providing exceptional educational opportunities for our students. President’s Club members set the pace for all gifts to the University and connect our University family in supporting our mission.

President’s Club Membership

Individuals and organizations who generously support the University with a leadership gift of $1,000 or more during the calendar year (January 1 – December 31) are eligible for membership in The President’s Club. Matching gifts may be used to reach the $1,000 giving threshold. Members of The President’s Club are recognized in University publications and are invited to Mercer University events. In addition, the University hosts a special event for members each year.

President’s Club Life Members

The University’s highest level of leadership giving, President’s Club Life Member, is conferred on those individuals and churches who have contributed a total of at least $100,000 to Mercer. Life Members are recognized during the annual President’s Club event.
