Mercer University hosts its Breakthroughs in Engagement, Arts, and Research (BEAR) Day annually to showcase outstanding undergraduate and graduate student research and special projects.

The 16th annual BEAR Day was held April 21, 2026, with students from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, School of Business, College of Education, School of Music, College of Health Professions, and School of Engineering.

The 2026 BEAR Day featured contributions from more than 300 students, including 160 poster presentations, 40 general paper presentations and 20 special symposia.
