A student shows a poster at Bear Day 2019

Mercer hosts its Breakthroughs in Engagement, Arts and Research (BEAR) Day annually to showcase the outstanding undergraduate and graduate student research and special projects.

Students from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Stetson-Hatcher School of Business, Townsend School of Music and the School of Engineering participate in the event.

Typically an in-person event, the 2020 BEAR Day was converted to a virtual format in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. More than 130 projects were uploaded to the University’s digital repository where they are available for viewing by fellow students, faculty and the general public.
