Mercer University and West Georgia Technical College (WGTC) support students' efficient and smooth transition from WGTC associate degree programs to Mercer bachelor's degree programs.
Turn your WGTC associate degree into a Mercer bachelor’s degree
Through the partnership between Mercer University and West Georgia Technical College (WGTC), students who earn an associate degree from WGTC may transfer to Mercer to complete a bachelor’s degree in any of the following programs. The Mercer Next “West Georgia to Mercer” program focuses on a 2+2 pathway for students seeking to pursue a bachelor’s degree at Mercer upon graduation from WGTC. Under the articulation agreement, WGTC students can transfer up to 64 credit hours.

Note: Mercer will evaluate all previously earned credits for transfer credit eligibility, including courses not listed in the agreement.
