Mercer University hosts its Breakthroughs in Engagement, Arts, and Research (BEAR) Day annually to showcase outstanding undergraduate and graduate student research and special projects.

The 16th annual BEAR Day will be held April 21, 2026, with students from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, School of Business, College of Education, School of Music, College of Health Professions, and School of Engineering.

The 2025 BEAR Day featured more than 350 poster and oral presentations and artist exhibits including contributions from more than 550 students.
