Military Alliance Scholarship

Employees and veterans of the U.S. Department of Defense, including civilians and contractors, may be eligible for the Military Alliance Scholarship for selected undergraduate and graduate programs at Mercer University.

Employees and veterans may receive scholarships of $2,000 or more per academic year for full-time enrollment or $1,000 or more per academic year for half-time enrollment, based on program selection. This scholarship may be applied only to tuition and eligible university fees. If other education benefits—such as employer tuition assistance or similar programs—cover all or part of the tuition and fee costs, the Military Alliance Scholarship will be reduced accordingly and/or may be removed if no remaining tuition or fee balance exists. VA Education Benefits may not be stacked with this scholarship or other tuition-only scholarships. Students using active VA benefits that fully or partially cover tuition may not be eligible.

The Military Alliance Scholarship does not cover the cost for books, housing, or other non-tuition expenses. The scholarship is not available to dependents of DoD employees or veterans.
