Students who hold a master’s degree in an approved content area from a regionally-accredited institution may apply for an endorsement program. The Autism Endorsement is available to certified teachers who hold a valid Level 4 teaching certificate. This endorsement will provide the certified teacher with knowledge and competencies to work with students on the autism spectrum. Endorsement courses are fully online; however, candidates will be required to complete a field-based component. (This program requires previous teacher certification.)

The graduate certificate in Business Data and Analytics prepares individuals to be effective leaders and make data-driven business decisions. Participants will learn how data analytics plays an essential role in decision-making, and how to use probability concepts and distributions for inferential statistics and predictive and prescriptive analytics.

The Coaching Endorsement is available to certified teachers who hold a valid Level 4 or higher teaching certificate. This endorsement will provide the certified teacher with knowledge to utilize performance assessment data to guide, mentor, and lead a variety of teachers and educators. Endorsement courses are fully online; however, candidates will be required to complete a field-based component. (This program requires previous teacher certification.)

The graduate certificate in Compliance, Regulation, and Analytics in Fintech teaches individuals how to leverage artificial intelligence to drive innovation by combining data, technology, design, and people to solve problems, and equips participants with the latest information on regulations and compliance.

Mercer’s Database Design and Analytics certificate includes a 15-credit program that prepares individuals to apply data science techniques to identify trends and generate insights from large data sets. The Elementary/Special Education certification only program is designed for individuals who would like to be certified to teach children in Grades P-5. Successful completion of the program and passing scores on the appropriate GACE Content Assessments lead to eligibility for initial certification. Students in the initial certification-only program do not earn a degree. This program is offered in a blended format, which includes evening and online classes. The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) post-master’s certificate is designed for the nurse who has a master’s degree in nursing and who is certified as an advanced practice nurse seeking eligibility for FNP primary care certification.

This endorsement will prepare the certified teacher to identify gifted students, design educational programs, and observe relevant policies in counseling and teaching such students. Endorsement courses are fully online; however, candidates will be required to complete a field-based component. (This program requires previous teacher certification.)

The Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics familiarizes students with a unique blend of healthcare and data management, providing a competitive advantage in two very distinctive, but intertwined career fields.
