COVID-19 Weekly Testing Summary: December 30, 2020 - January 14, 2021

The University has now completed its process of COVID-19 screening and testing for students, faculty and staff returning to campus for the spring semester. All Macon traditional undergraduates, College of Pharmacy and College of Health Professions students and Atlanta students in University housing were required to be tested. All other students, faculty and staff were required to complete a health screener and be tested if their responses warranted.
A total of 4,316 students, faculty and staff from all campuses were tested between December 30 and January 14, with 260 testing positive, for a positivity rate of 6%. The results are broken out below.

The University is not aware of any students, faculty or staff screened and tested during this process who has required hospitalization.
Mandatory surveillance testing of students, faculty and staff will begin the week of January 18.
