New courses created: American Popular Culture, Medical Sociology. Revised curriculum, organized assessment program, developed curriculum for potential Justice Studies Program.

Continued development efforts for African Artifacts Collection.

1999 Supervised Departmental Program Review.

1992-1996 Organized class utilization of The New York Times on Campus.

1992-1995 Authored grants for the "Improvement of Teaching" in sociology. These grants have provided hardware and software for the substantial upgrading of our sociological research laboratory.

Complied a comparative analysis of Criminal Justice Program in the State of Georgia in conjunction with the development of a criminal justice major in the department.

Significantly increased the number of students pursuing individual majors in criminal justice.

1992 Authored proposal and arranged departmental visits to the Social Sciences Laboratories at Savannah State College to survey their use of on-line sociological data in conjunction with classroom activities.

Initiated and authored the Sociology Club Newsletter and served as advisor to the club. The 1/13/92 club newsletter was incorporated into a Sociology Club Took Kit distributed by the American Sociology Association.
