| Dr. Ami L. Spears (Ph.D., University of Oklahoma, 1998, Ami.L.Spears@Mercer.edu) holds the position of Assistant Professor of Psychology. Her area of expertise is Cognitive Aspects of Technology Use. She teaches Introduction to Psychology, Cognition, Statistics, and Scientific Inquiry. Her research, in simple terms, involves studying how people use computers. Specific examples include linguistic variation of conversation in computer chat rooms and memory for conversation in chat environments. |
