The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association
of Colleges and Schools (SACS) is the regional accrediting
body for Mercer University. They require as a part
of the reaffirmation process a quality enhancement
plan (QEP) that will enhance student learning.
Mercer University is currently involved in implementing
its plan. During the week of October 5-8, 2005, Mercer
was pleased to host Patti
Clayton as the kick-off event.
The
next QEP event will involve William
Sullivan from the Carnegie Foundation.
