Mission and Goals
Mission
The mission of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness is to support the University's efforts to continuously advance its mission and improve its programs and services.
Functions of the Office
- Provide resources and services to support University planning.
- Provide resources and services for assessment of student learning outcomes and administrative and educational support services.
- Prepare reports regarding the effectiveness and the improvement of educational programs and administrative/support services.
- Coordinate and support program review.
- Conduct institutional research in support of planning, assessment, and decision making.
- Provide data about the campuses, students, and personnel for external agencies, program reviews, accreditations, the federal government, and internal constituencies.
- Provide resources and services for the SACS reaffirmation process, including ongoing QEP initiatives.
- Provide consulting services for programmatic accreditation processes and reports
- Communicate information on how the University is advancing its mission and improving its programs and services to the Mercer community.
- Provide oversight for the faculty credentialing process.
