Often times we are used to
doing research in a limited
area of science which could
narrow down our outlook.
Pharmaceutical sciences is
an interdisciplinary field
which overlaps multiple
areas of science. The
objective of the the MUSCA
Journal club which meets
once a month is to conduct
informal discussions on
select peer reviewed
articles belonging not only
to our respective fields of
research, but also
groundbreaking articles from
other spheres of science
which could have an
immediate effect on
pharmaceutical sciences.
General Protocol Followed:
The
coordinators call for the
papers in the 1st
week of every month. The
selection is done on the
basis of its impact on
pharmaceutical sciences. The
selected paper is circulated
the following week after
which the person
contributing the paper is
allowed to present it for
about 30min. The next 30 min
is opened for
discussions.
