Program Highlights:

Service Project Description: Our project will focus on the children living in poverty in Moldova, particularly orphans.  A second focus of our work will be understanding the nature and causes of human trafficking - which is directly related to the status of women and children in Moldova.  Moldova is the poorest country in Europe having seen the average citizen's buying power literally cut in half between 1992 and 2005.  Many working-aged Moldovans have left the country, sometimes leaving their children behind.  We will directly connect with orphans thorough the work of Clipa Siderala and our efforts are to provide recreational opportunities for orphans.
