| Charles "Chip" Connally Scholarship Reestablished |
February 20th, 2007 The Charles "Chip" Connally Scholarship, named to honor a fallen brother and former High Alpha who was killed in a car accident before he was to graduate in the early 1980's, has been reestablished at Zeta-Omega. The scholarship will honor the model/outstanding Associate Member who contributed the most to his class and the brotherhood as a whole. Daniel Larson was selected as this year's recipient of the Charles "Chip" Connally Scholarship: Brother Larson entered Mercer University in the fall of 2004, but quickly had to put education on hold as his Georgia National Guard company was called up for a tour of duty in Iraq. Larson served his country proudly and reentered the university in fall 2006. Larson recieved a bid from Lambda Chi Alpha during formal recruitment week and quickly established his leadership abilities within the chapter, attending all required events and guiding his associate class to the fullest extent. Congratulations to Brother Daniel Larson as he will recieve a $400 tuition reimbursement on his student account. |

| New Year Calls for a New Website |
We decided to entirely redesign our website, mostly in part to the old website's outdated layout. This new website is laid out in a viewer friendly manner and hopes to address some of the flaws of our old location. If you have any comments or questions, please contact our Webmaster, David S. Klein at kleinda@gmail.com. Best wishes for the fall and please enjoy our new site. In ZAX, |
