Dear Alumni
By mail or in person, more than a few of you have kept in touch. Please keep
doing so! More specifically, please e-mail a note to Dr. Good so that by year’s end, we
might devote this page entirely to alumni notes. That way, we can always reach
you, and you can more easily reach each other. Never will we ask you for money.
Our sole ulterior motive is to show our majors, who typically think of teaching
and law as the standard history major careers, the wide range of pursuits
actually chosen by history majors.
Where and how are you? Have you changed occupations? Accepted Turner’s frontier thesis? Noticed an intriguing history research possibility for a Mercer history major? Bought a Harley? Read a book that you’d recommend to others? All of this interests us.
