Professor Scott specializes in the intellectual and religious history of colonial America and the early republic, and is currently researching religion in Colonial Georgia. He founded Mercer’s chapter of Phi Alpha Theta (the national history honor society) and serves as faculty advisor.  He advises the Reformed University Fellowship and teaches in the Great Books and Senior Capstone programs.
