If you would like to ride on the team in the Spring, you must start taking weekly lessons in October. Lessons for non-competing and non-current team members may be taken from any professional hunt seat instructor. Team riders should plan on 12 lessons each semester at their own expense. IHSA Hunt Seat Riders must join IHSA and USHJA. Mercer Equestrian Club pays IHSA Competition Expenses other than food for the team riders.
