Highlight: Personal computers in all laboratories are newly installed state-of-the-art machines. A new laboratory for the Characterization of Advanced Structural Materials includes a new MTS machine for precision testing of materials. The Center for Advanced Engineering Analysis houses a network of UNIX workstations dedicated to instruction and research. The engineering study-lounge is a new wireless hot spot for the University network. Students have access to modern tools of engineering through the latest software and computing capabilities.
