Professor Oppy is also Director of Mercer University Theatre, and Administrative Head of the Drama and Theatre Concentration.

Professor Oppy received his B.A. and M.A. from the University of Alabama, 1970, 1971.

A personal note:  Professor Oppy has three children, enjoys long distance motor cycle touring, hiking, and storytelling in local schools.  He is on the Cultural Arts Subcommittee of the Macon City Council and Chair of the Performing Arts Task Group.
