Women of Witness

WOW (Women of Witness) is an informal organization of Mercer women exploring vocations in Christian service. The primary goal of the group is to provide support and encouragement as students celebrate their gifts and seek to discern God’s call on their lives.

Formed in 2001, this organization holds monthly meetings where participants have an opportunity to share their stories of struggle and of joy. In addition, the group shares meals together, hosts guest speakers, and conducts service projects that focus specifically on women in crisis.
