Welcome to the VOICE webpage! Whether you stumbled across this page as you were surfing Mercer’s website, or you were referred here by a member of VOICE, we hope you’ll find helpful information here.

Vocational Opportunities in Christian Experience (VOICE) offers:

• Opportunities for its members to engage in dialogue on issues related to Christian vocation;
• Encouragement, inspiration, and fellowship for those interested in careers in Christian vocation;
• Programs with topics relating to intellectual growth, ministry skills, and spiritual nurture;
• Creation of a covenantal agreement between Mercer University, individual members of VOICE, and local churches and community ministries.

Membership in VOICE is open to any Mercer student who is committed to or interested in learning about Christian vocation. The current members find themselves at various places along that journey. Some of us have just begun to consider the possibility that God could have created us for Christian vocation. Other members have determined that they will spend their lives doing ministry (we define the word "ministry" very broadly!), but they aren’t sure what kind of ministry. Finally, others are on the road to a specific Christian vocation. VOICE was created in 2001 with the entire spectrum of students in mind.

If you are a current Mercer student, we would be glad to have you join us as we explore Christian vocation. We meet in the Religious Life Center on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:00pm when classes are in session.
