Use Career Services' on-line programs such as TypeFocus and What Can I Do With a Major In . . .?  to explore academic majors and possible career paths.

Attend annual Career Day on campus to interact and network with employers.

Connect with Career Services' SuccessTrak database

Pursue part-time work for the summer that will enhance basic transferrable skills such as oral and written communications, organization, project management, and leadership.

Sophomore Year


Develop resume using recommended guidelines on Career Services' website

Update SuccessTrak profile

Solidify academic major choice using academic advisors and Career Services

Participate in networking activities such as Career Days both on and off campus, part-time job and internship fairs in the fall and spring

Consider internship opportunities for the summer or during the junior year

Consider Study Abroad as an option

Junior Year


Start developing a professional wardrobe collection

Update resume and SuccessTrak profile

Continue to network at annual career fair events

Begin to explore graduate schools, determine timelines for applications

Register to take necessary entrance exams - LSAT, MCAT, GMAT, GRE

Interview for internships, part-time jobs, or pursue Study Abroad

Senior Year

Update resume and SuccessTrak profile

Participate in on and off-campus interviews beginning early in the Fall

Submit graduate school applications by determined deadlines

Continue to network at annual career fair events
