Reunion Trip to Chattanooga
November 18, 2000

The Mercer MESSAGE and Mercer TECH campers,
teachers, mentors, and directors visited Chattanooga
on November 18, 2000 (group photo). We
chartered a bus built for 57 persons and watched Magic School Bus movies
on the four-hour ride (pic1 pic2). We spent the morning at
the Creative Discovery Museum. We then watched “Into The Deep”, an
intensive 3-D underwater movie, at the IMAX Theater. After the movie, we
visited the Tennessee Aquarium (pic1 pic2

pic5). As a finale,
each camper got a coupon book to McDonalds to purchase a dinner of their
choosing (pic1 pic2
pic3 pic4). After arriving home, the campers
and mentors rested as they waited for their parents to pick them up (pic1
pic2). We had the most wonderful time
imaginable.
