CABLE SERVICES
Can we get HBO or Showtime in our dorm room?
Yes! On the Macon campus, call Cox Cable directly to sign up for premium channels. Cox is on campus during the first week of school to offer these services to new and return students. On the Atlanta campus, call Comcast.
MEAL MEMBERSHIPS
Why are Meal Memberships required for students living in the dorms?
All students living in Residence Halls, as well as Freshmen and Sophomores living in apartments and Greek housing, are required to purchase a meal membership based on their current class status.
What are the prices of the Meal Memberships and how do they work?
Cafeteria Meals are "All you care to eat" buffet style and are deducted from the students meal privileges each time he/she eats. The meals are added to the card on a weekly basis from Wednesday to the next Tuesday and the costs below are charged per semester.
Can additional money be added to the Dining Dollars that come with the Meal Membership?
No, money cannot be added to that feature of the Meal Membership. The Dining Dollars portion of the Meal Membership is just an option that allows the student to utilize Snack Bar services at their convenience. Unused Dining Dollars can be carried over from Fall semester if a Spring meal membership is purchased. Dining Dollars from Summer session do not transfer.
However, a separate Debit Card feature can be activated and monies can be deposited for use at various campus sites (vending machines, copy machines, laundry machines, the bookstore, as well as the cafeteria and snack bar).

MICROFRIDGE
What are the measurements of the MicroFridge?
Specifications: 18 5/8 in. (W) X 19 ½ in. (D) X 43 ½ in. (H)
Weight: 87 lbs.
(The above information is listed on the MicroFridge color brochure)
Will two (2) MicroFridge units fit into a dorm room?
Typically, when you take into consideration the size of the room and allow space for the personal furniture of all room occupants, it is ideal if roommates share a MicroFridge.
Is it mandatory to rent MicroFridges from the University or can a student bring their own?
Students are welcome to bring their own refrigerators and microwaves in accordance with Residence Hall policies as stated in the Student Handbook. However, the compact design of the microwave, freezer, refrigerator combination is easier adapted to dorm room living. Rental with free delivery and set-up is therefore offered as a convenience.
What happens if both roommates sign up for a MicroFridge and both pay deposits?
The contracts are matched by room numbers, so there is no duplication in rentals. If both students paid a $20.00 deposit, that money is added together and applied to the total rental charge. You will be sent an invoice for the remaining balance payable by August 1st.
LAUNDRY
How much does it cost to do a load of laundry?

How do I get a refund for money lost in washers, dryers, vending machines, or copiers?
Simply come by the Auxiliary Services Office and see the receptionist. She will be glad to refund your lost money.
