Welcome! Our tutors are eager to help you identify and remedy weaknesses in your writing so that you may apply these lessons to your current and future projects. You will receive an initial response from our professional tutors within 24 hours Monday through Friday. Tutor reviews are normally completed within 48 hours; responses for papers longer than 6 pages may require a full 48 hour review period.
Directions:
- Click on the link below to go to a form that helps you upload your documents. In the 'comments' area on the form, outline the strengths and weaknesses of your draft and list your specific questions about topic, purpose, audience, thesis, development, organization, etc.
- Upload your document in Microsoft Word 2003 format using the 'upload' button on the form. We recommend uploading your document as a rich text format (.rtf) file in order to avoid compatibility problems. Also, do NOT use special symbols in your file names (e.g. #, $).
- Click here to upload your document.
Check your Mercer e-mail account for responses from the online writing tutors. Tutors will reply to Mercer students strictly through their Mercer e-mail accounts.
Tutors will provide feedback that aims to help you write better papers. Do not expect to receive a checklist of corrections from tutors, but rather prompts to direct and deepen your thinking and suggestions to strengthen your thesis and organize your ideas for precision and clarity.
