First Year Seminar Writing Guidelines and Links are posted on the FYS web page.  Questions about Mercer's Honor Code and plagiarism may be researched on the Honor Council web pages.

The Guide to Grammar and Writing provides rules and information on sentence structure, punctuation, and grammar. The site features a search engine, interactive quizzes, and sample essays. Also, you may submit questions about grammar and writing.

Merriam-Webster OnLine: The Language Center features a dictionary and thesaurus look-up service along with spelling help.

Purdue University's OWL: Online Writing Lab is a comprehensive resource.  You will find handouts and presentations on writing (grammar, research, resumes, etc.) and links to many other internet resources.

Refer to Diana Hacker's Research and Documentation Online for advice on MLA, APA, Chicago, and CBE citation styles.
