About Us
The Academic Resource Center took up residence in the Breezeway of the Connell Student Center starting in September 2003. Prior to this time, the unit was known as the Learning Center and by 2001 had been settled in what is now the Environmental Science Building next to Willett Science Center.
With each new school year, the Academic Resource Center expands and adapts its services to best fit the needs of Mercer students. The Academic Resource Center was named "Department of the Year" by the Student Government Association for the 2004-2005 year. This award is very special to our department because it was decided upon by the students. We take pride in the services we provide to the students at Mercer University and we strive to continue to have a positive impact on their scholastic endeavors.
