Beta Sigma has a long-standing tradition of honoring and encouraging one another by giving each other “violets” for the many individual accomplishments of chapter members.

Kelly Nightingale accepted an offer for an internship with the Editorial Department of the University of Georgia Press.
Bonnie Keel was named the Outstanding Senior for the Media Studies Department.
Becca Gunn served as Vice President of Pre-Event Planning for Dance Marathon 2010, which raised over $12,000 benefiting The Children's Miracle Network.
Deborah Carley is accepted as an intern for Reformed University Fellowship at Western Carolina University for the next 2 years.
Alyson Grogan was a competitor in the 2010 National Collegiate Sales Competition.
Christina Shaw is interning with Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
Margee Jardine got accepted into Enterprise Rent-A-Car's Management Trainee program back home in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Christina Kivi was selected as a Mercer Ambassador.
Christina Kivi ran a new PR in the 5k at the Emory Classic--20:50!
Nikki Lunceford is Senior Resident Assistant for MEP/Plunkett Hall.
Anitra Simmons received a graduate assistantship as a Hall Director for a residence hall of 200 freshmen residents.
Anitra Simmons was accepted to James Madison University where she will be earning her Masters in College Student Personnel Administration.
Anitra Simmons implemented a successful campus wide conference, Venus and Mars Conference, for her senior service project.
Brittany Crosby is being inducted into the Foreign Language Honors Society.
Kristin Reid was accepted to the graduate accounting programs at Indiana University, George Washington University, Wake Forest, and University of Virginia!
Cassie Sanders, [Disaffiliated], [Disaffiliated], [Disaffiliated], Mary Cate Prendergast, Molly Pfeiffer, Meredith Milligan, Whitney Ezell, Deborah Carley, and AC Davis are serving on Reformed University Fellowship's 2010 Leadership Team.
Bonnie Keel completed an internship with Good News Television Media Ministries during the summer of 2009.
Carli Rodriguez-Feo was awarded "outstanding delegate" at the national conference in DC for Mercer's Model Arab League in March of 2009. She was also awarded "outstanding delegate" at the regional conference in South Carolina in spring of 2009. In addition, Carli was accepted to the prestigious Latin American studies program at the University of Miami for May and June of 2009.
Beta Sigma Chapter received the following awards at Alpha Delta Pi’s 158th Grand Convention (“Excellence” is the highest honor for a chapter in any area): Scholastic Excellence, Panhellenic Excellence, Philanthropy Excellence, Alpha Education Excellence, Harris Financial Excellence, Recruitment Excellence, History Excellence, Adelphean Excellence, TME Achievement, and the Stanard Award for Leadership and Excellence.
Meredith Milligan was the voting delegate of Beta Sigma at Alpha Delta Pi’s 158th Grand Convention at the Renaissance Resort in Orlando, FL.
Cara Burgess received a prestigious internship with The Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation.
Julia Chenault, Amry Stanley, Anna Stephens, and Christina Shaw are working at Summer Beach Project for Campus Outreach during summer 2009.
Margee Jardine completed the Stetson School of Business week-long study abroad trip in London, England.
Christina Kivi studied philosophy and art in Florence, Italy, during July 2009.
Elisabeth Slaten studied opera and performance in Graz, Austria, during July 2009.
Margee Jardine is the General Assistant to Jeremy Baham for all camps held at Mercer during summer 2009.
