Diamond Jubilee
The Beta Sigma chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at Mercer University is proud to announce that they will be celebrating their 75th anniversary as a chapter on Mercer's campus. The Beta Sigma chapter was the first sorority on Mercer's campus when it was founded in November of 1937. After 75 years, we are inviting all of our alumnae back to celebrate our long history at Mercer. The Beta Sigma Diamond Jubilee, as our celebration has been named, will take place on the weekend of March 23-25, 2012.
The activities for the weekend will include:
Friday, March 23, 2012
Open House from 5-8 pm with light refreshments
Saturday, March 24, 2012
Mercer Campus Tours 1 pm and 3 pm*
Rose Hill Cemetery Tours 1-3 pm
Cannonball House Tours 1-3 pm
Wesleyan Fountain Viewing 1-3 pm
Open House at the ADPi House 3-5 pm with light refreshments
There will be ADPi sisters at each of the locations around Macon and we will have markers showing you where to go. We will also have directions available at the ADPi house if you need them. Current Beta Sigma’s will be giving a walking tour of the campus. Just meet us at the ADPi house and we will leave from there!
For those of you who haven't been to the new house, we'll have a banner hanging and the music going, you won't be able to miss it!
We are very excited that the annual Macon Cherry Blossom Festival will be happening this weekend. There will be brochures available at the ADPi house with a full list of events. You can also find more details here: http://www.cherryblossom.com/
There are several restaurants located within walking distance of Mercer’s campus that would be great options for lunch or dinner. They include Francar's, Ingleside Village Pizza, Margarita's, and Fountain of Juice!

*Unfortunately, the Mercer Campus tour that was scheduled for 10 am will no longer be offered due to an Admissions event on campus, but there will still be tours offered at 1pm and 3pm.
