WHO: Approximately 50 alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of Mercer University School of Medicine
WHAT: are expected to participate in the School of Medicine's Sixth Annual Golf Classic
WHEN: Friday, Oct. 5, 2001 11:30 a.m. for registration, lunch and putting contest 1 p.m. tee-off 5 p.m. awards ceremony
WHERE: Oakview Golf and Country Club, 128 Oakview Club Drive, Macon, Ga.
WHY: Proceeds from the Sixth Annual Golf Classic will benefit student scholarships and other needs of Mercer University School of Medicine.
NOTES: Two holes have been designated for hole-in-one prizes of either $10,000 cash or a new car. Winners of the longest drive and putting contests will receive prizes.
