Mercer's Women's and Gender Studies Program hosts children's event for Women's History Month at Children's Museum

Macon Ð The Mercer University Women's and Gender Studies Program and the Georgia Children's Museum are cosponsoring an event for girls ages 6-10 on Saturday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Georgia Children's Museum, 382 Cherry St. Children are encouraged to come dressed as a woman from history. Activities include arts and crafts, storytelling, movies and an interactive display from the Tubman African American Museum. Call 301-2357 for reservations. The event is free.
