Center for Health and Learning, Piedmont Healthcare
Piedmont Healthcare located in Atlanta and Mercer University have formed a partnership to create a number of joint initiatives, including nursing, pharmacy, research and other medical and allied health education programs as part of a Center for Health and Learning.
Mercer has established a more vigorous research presence and deepen program offerings in nursing and pharmacy. Mercer has also broaden its medical residency program and its non-clinical education programs, such as chaplaincy, health management and health law.

Warner Robins Air Logistics Center
The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center is the largest entity housed at Robins Air Force. In 1983, the WRALC and Mercer began discussions about the critical need for engineers at the WRALC. As a result, the University established the School of Engineering in 1985 and Mercer Engineering Research Center in 1987. The educational partnership was formally renewed in 2004. The relationship continues to grow with the addition of Mercer’s Science and Engineering Building, which opened fall 2007. Today, Mercer is the WRALC’s largest source of engineers.
