Emily Piassick, Ph.D., director and licensed psychologist, received her doctoral degree in counseling psychology and her master's degree in higher education counseling from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Piassick completed her internship at the University of Texas Counseling and Mental Health Center. Prior to coming to Mercer, she was employed as a counselor at the YWCA of Greater Austin: Women's Counseling and Referral Center. Dr. Piassick began her seventh year of service at Mercer in Fall 2008.
Shaun P. Kell, L.A.M.F.T., assistant director and licensed associate marriage and family therapist, received his master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine. Shaun completed his internship at the Medical Center of Central Georgia and at Pediatric Behavioral and Developmental Medicine in Macon, Georgia. Prior to coming to Mercer he was employed as the Behavioral Health Counselor at the Anderson Center of the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Shaun began his service at Mercer in Fall 2008
Sheronica Daniels, B.A., administrative secretary, joined CAPS in Fall '07 semester, received her English degree from Mercer University.
