Greek life has been an integral part of the Mercer experience since 1871. One of the greatest worries of many incoming freshmen is the fear that either they will not fit in or will not make any new friends. One of the best ways to overcome these obstacles is through joining a campus organization like Phi Mu! Fall Recruitment provides new students to Mercer an opportunity to meet other freshmen while getting to know returning Mercerians with common interests.
Fall recruitment is held during the first week of classes each semester. This is your chance to get out there and see which campus organizations are right for you. We at Phi Mu strive to promote a sense of sisterhood and loyalty within the Mercer community, incorporating the values set forth in the Creed of Phi Mu as a part of our everyday lives. It is in this spirit that we invite you to participate in Fall Recruitment and see if Phi Mu is right for you.
Phi Mu provides an unequivocal opportunity to become involved on campus. We endeavor to create a sense of home away from home for our members as well as a dynamic of enduring friendship and sisterhood. We encourage you to participate in Recruitment Week and look forward to seeing you at Mercer!
If you have any questions about Recruitment, please contact Kristina Fine , Panhellenic Recruitment Chair for more information.

A Phi Mu is a girl who has moon glow in her hair,
stardust in her eyes, and heaven in her smile.
Her impish grin is sunshine on a cloudy day.
Its warmth is a caress which peeps through your
troubles and quickly dries your tears.
She is a girl in a pink lace dress who looks for the
entire world like a princess - in spite of the freckles
on her nose.
She is beauty sitting cross-legged in bermuda shorts
- giving motherly advice.
She is sister, mother, and friend - all rolled into one.
She can be playful, coy, and even mischievous.
She has the power to lift your hopes with
one glance, one twinkle of those laughing eyes.
When she smiles, she brings courage and hope
to your heart.
Laughter precedes her; happiness walks with her;
peace follows her.
She means everything to me - she is my Phi Mu girl!
